Estimates are for planning only
Estimates, reports, timelines and payment examples are general planning information based on regional cost data and the answers you provide. They are not bids, quotes, appraisals, loan offers, or professional, financial, legal or tax advice. Actual costs depend on your lot, plans, materials, builder, location and market conditions, and can be higher or lower than shown. Get bids from licensed builders and advice from qualified professionals before you make decisions.
Builders
If you ask to be connected with a builder, that builder is an independent business. We don't employ builders, supervise their work, or guarantee their prices, schedules or workmanship. Any agreement you make is between you and the builder.
Acceptable use
Don't submit false information, use the calculator to collect other people's information, overload the service, or copy our data or pages in bulk.
No warranty
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Custom Home Estimator isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made based on an estimate. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
